यत्ता भीष्म परीप्सध्वं रक्षमाणा: समन्ततः । मा नः प्रपश्यमानानां श्वेतान्मृत्युमवाप्स्यति
yattā bhīṣma parīpsadhvaṁ rakṣamāṇāḥ samantataḥ | mā naḥ prapaśyamānānāṁ śvetān mṛtyum avāpsyati ||
संजय बोले—“भीष्म की रक्षा के लिए यत्न करो; चारों ओर से उन्हें घेरकर बचाए रखो। ऐसा न हो कि हमारे देखते-देखते श्वेत हमें मृत्यु के मुख में पहुँचा दे।”
