आदित्यानामहं विष्णुज्योतिषां रविरंशुमान् | मरीचिर्मरुतामस्मि नक्षत्राणामहं शशी
ādityānām ahaṁ viṣṇur jyotiṣāṁ ravir aṁśumān | marīcir marutām asmi nakṣatrāṇām ahaṁ śaśī ||
आदित्यों में मैं विष्णु हूँ, ज्योतियों में किरणोंवाला सूर्य हूँ; मरुतों में मैं मरीचि हूँ और नक्षत्रों में मैं चन्द्रमा हूँ।
अजुन उवाच
God can be contemplated through the highest and most splendid exemplars in creation; recognizing the Divine as the inner source of excellence cultivates humility, devotion, and right understanding of agency.
In the Vibhūti-yoga section, Kṛṣṇa answers Arjuna’s request to know His manifestations by listing prominent representatives—Viṣṇu among Ādityas, the Sun among lights, Marīci among Maruts, and the Moon among the stars.
