The Yoga of the Imperishable Brahman
The core teaching is all-pervading God-vision: the devotee perceives the Lord everywhere and all beings within the Lord. Such integrated perception yields unbroken relationship—God is never ‘absent’ to the devotee, and the devotee is never ‘lost’ to God.
Within the Bhīṣma Parva’s Gītā discourse on the battlefield, this verse articulates the culmination of devotional yoga: after describing yogic steadiness and equal vision, the teaching turns to a bhakti-centered realization where the Lord is directly recognized in all contexts, sustaining the warrior-disciple’s moral clarity amid conflict.
