धृष्टय्युम्नश्ष पाञ्चाल्यस्तेषां गोप्ता महारथ: । सहित: पृतनाशूरै रथमुख्यै: प्रभद्रकै:
dhṛṣṭadyumnaś ca pāñcālyas teṣāṃ goptā mahārathaḥ | sahitaḥ pṛtanāśūrai rathamukhyaiḥ prabhadrakaiḥ ||
पाञ्चालकुमार महारथी धृष्टद्युम्न, सेना के चुने हुए शूरवीरों और प्रधान रथियों—प्रभद्रकों—के साथ, उन सबकी रक्षा कर रहे थे।
