Bhīṣma-parva Adhyāya 16 — Saṃjaya’s Boon, Bhīṣma’s Protection, and the Dawn Arraying of Armies
संनद्धा: समदृश्यन्त स्वेष्वनीकेष्ववस्थिता: । ये तथा और भी बहुत-से नीतिज्ञ महारथी राजा और राजकुमार दुर्योधनके वशमें रहकर कवच आदिसे सुसज्जित हो अपनी-अपनी सेनाओंमें खड़े दिखायी देते थे || १८ इ || बद्धकृष्णाजिना: सर्वे बलिनो युद्धशालिन:
saṁnaddhāḥ samadṛśyanta sveṣv anīkeṣv avasthitāḥ |
संजय बोले—वे सब कवच-शस्त्रों से सुसज्जित, अपनी-अपनी व्यूह-रचना में स्थिर खड़े दिखाई देते थे। इस प्रकार दुर्योधन के वश में रहने वाले अनेक नीति-निपुण महारथी राजा और राजकुमार अपने-अपने दलों में स्थित, युद्ध के लिए तत्पर दिखे।
