Bhīṣma-nipāta-saṃvāda — Sañjaya’s Report of Bhīṣma’s Fall (भीष्मनिपातसंवादः)
हयान् गजपदातींश्व रथांश्न तरसा बहून् निमज्जयन्तं समरे परवीरापहारिणम्
dhṛtarāṣṭra uvāca | hayān gajapadātīṁś ca rathāṁś ca tarasā bahūn nimajjayantaṁ samare paravīrāpahāriṇam |
धृतराष्ट्र बोले—मैं रणभूमि में भीष्म को देख रहा हूँ, जो अजेय वेग से शत्रुपक्ष के घोड़ों, हाथियों, पैदल सैनिकों और असंख्य रथों को मानो डुबो देते हैं; युद्ध में वे परवीरों के प्राण हरने वाले हैं।
