सर्व दुर्योधनस्यार्थ त्यक्त मे भूरिदक्षिण । मा चैतद् व्याधिमरणं क्षत्रं स्थादिति कौरव
sarva duryodhanasyārtha tyakta me bhūridakṣiṇa | mā caitad vyādhimaraṇaṁ kṣatraṁ sthād iti kaurava ||
कर्ण ने कहा—हे भूरिदक्षिण! दुर्योधन के हित के लिए मैंने सब कुछ त्याग दिया है। हे कौरव! ऐसा न हो कि क्षत्रधर्म केवल व्याधि और मृत्यु का नाम बनकर रह जाए।
कर्ण उवाच
