सा पार्थिवशताकीर्णा समितिर्भीष्मशोभिता । शुशुभे भारती दीप्ता दिवीवादित्यमण्डलम्
sā pārthivaśatākīrṇā samitir bhīṣmaśobhitā | śuśubhe bhāratī dīptā divīvādityamaṇḍalam ||
सैकड़ों राजाओं से भरी और भीष्म से सुशोभित वह रणसभा, भरतवंशियों की दीप्ति से दमक उठी—मानो रणभूमि पर आकाश का सूर्य-मण्डल उतर आया हो।
