भीष्मस्य शरशय्या-प्राप्तिः
Bhīṣma’s Fall to the Arrow-Bed
उरःस्थेन बभौ तेन भीमसेन: प्रतापवान्
uraḥsthena babhau tena bhīmasenaḥ pratāpavān
संजय बोले—वह (आघात/शस्त्र) वक्षस्थल में धँसा होने पर भी प्रतापी भीमसेन वैसे ही दीप्तिमान रहे; प्रत्यक्ष प्रहार के बीच भी उनका साहस क्षीण न हुआ और रणधर्म की कठोरता में उनकी अडिगता प्रकट हुई।
