Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca | hatvā daśa sahasrāṇi kuñjarāṇāṃ tarasvinām | sārohāṇāṃ mahārāja hayānāṃ cāyutaṃ tathā ||

Translation

महाराज! भीष्म ने सवारों सहित दस हजार वेगशाली हाथियों को मार डाला और उसी प्रकार दस हजार घोड़ों को भी।
