भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ११०: पार्थभीमयोः प्रहारः तथा भीष्माभिमुखं संग्रामविस्तारः
Arjuna and Bhima’s pressure; escalation toward Bhishma
मण्डलेनैव धनुषा दृश्यसे संयुगे सदा । आददान संदधान विकर्षन्तं धनुर्न च
maṇḍalenai va dhanuṣā dṛśyase saṃyuge sadā | ādadānaṃ saṃdadhānaṃ vikarṣantaṃ dhanur na ca ||
संजय बोले—रण में आप सदा केवल धनुष की घूमती हुई मण्डलाकार रेखा-से ही दिखाई देते हैं—बाण उठाते, प्रत्यंचा पर चढ़ाते और बार-बार धनुष खींचते हुए; ऐसे कि धनुर्धर स्वयं भी मानो दृष्टि से ओझल हो जाता है।
