भीष्मपर्व — अध्याय ११०: पार्थभीमयोः प्रहारः तथा भीष्माभिमुखं संग्रामविस्तारः
Arjuna and Bhima’s pressure; escalation toward Bhishma
सेन्द्रानपि रणे देवाञ्जयेयं जयतां वर । त्वया नाथेन गोविन्द किमु भीष्म॑ महारथम्
yudhiṣṭhira uvāca | sendrān api raṇe devān jayeyam jayatāṃ vara | tvayā nāthena govinda kimu bhīṣmaṃ mahāratham ||
विजयी वीरों में श्रेष्ठ गोविन्द! आपको अपना रक्षक पाकर मैं युद्ध में इन्द्रसहित समस्त देवताओं को भी जीत सकता हूँ; फिर महारथी भीष्म पर विजय पाना कौन-सी बड़ी बात है?
