द्रोणं य युधि संरब्धं मां च निर्जित्य संयुगे । वासांसि स समादत्त पर्याप्तं तन्निदर्शनम्
droṇaṃ ya yudhi saṃrabdhaṃ māṃ ca nirjitya saṃyuge | vāsāṃsi sa samādatta paryāptaṃ tan nidarśanam ||
संजय बोले—युद्ध में क्रोध से भरे द्रोणाचार्य को और मुझे भी परास्त करके उसने सबके वस्त्र छीन लिए थे। यह उसकी अजेय पराक्रम-शक्ति का पर्याप्त प्रमाण है।
