Āśvamedha-dīkṣā-nirdeśaḥ — Scheduling the Initiation and Assigning Protection for the Horse

विदुरं पूजयित्वा च वैश्यापुत्र॑ समेत्य च

viduraṁ pūjayitvā ca vaiśyāputraṁ sametya ca

वैशम्पायन बोले—उन्होंने विदुर का विधिवत् पूजन किया और वैश्यापुत्र से भी मिलकर, यथोचित सम्मान के साथ धर्मानुसार आगे बढ़े; क्योंकि धर्म का आरंभ बुद्धिमानों के आदर और सबके प्रति शिष्ट व्यवहार से होता है।
