Āśvamedha-dīkṣā-nirdeśaḥ — Scheduling the Initiation and Assigning Protection for the Horse
सह वृष्ण्यन्धकव्याप्रैरुपासांचक्रिरे तदा | तत्र नानाविधाकारा: कथा: समभिकीरत्त्य वै
saha vṛṣṇyandhakavyāprair upāsāṃ cakrire tadā | tatra nānāvidhākārāḥ kathāḥ samabhikīrtya vai ||
वैशम्पायन बोले: तब वृष्णि और अन्धक कुल के प्रमुख वीरों के साथ उन्होंने श्रद्धापूर्वक सेवा-उपासना की। वहाँ अनेक प्रकार की कथाएँ और वृत्तान्त यथोचित रूप से कहे-सुने गए, और धर्मोचित परामर्श का वातावरण बना।
