Abhimanyu’s Śrāddha; Vyāsa’s Assurance of the Unborn Heir (अभिमन्योः श्राद्धं तथा गर्भरक्षणोपदेशः)
कुले महति जातासि क्षत्रियाणां महात्मनाम् | मा शुचश्चपलाक्ष त्वं पद्मपत्रनिभेक्षणे
kule mahati jātāsi kṣatriyāṇāṁ mahātmanām | mā śucaś capalākṣa tvaṁ padmapatranibhekṣaṇe ||
वैशम्पायन बोले— बेटी! कमलदल-लोचने! तुम महात्मा क्षत्रियों के महान कुल में उत्पन्न हुई हो; इसलिए चंचल नेत्रों वाले अपने पुत्र के लिए शोक मत करो।
