Uttaṅka’s Petition for Madayantī’s Divine Earrings (Maṇikuṇḍala) — Agreement, Proof, and Vigilance
सर्वेषामृषिपुत्राणामेष आसीन्मनोरथ: । औत्तड़कीं गुरुवृत्तिं वै प्राप्तुयामेति भारत
sarveṣām ṛṣiputrāṇām eṣa āsīn manorathaḥ | auttaṅkīṁ guruvṛttiṁ vai prāptuyāmeti bhārata bharatanandana ||
भरतनन्दन! उन दिनों सभी ऋषिपुत्रों के मन में यही अभिलाषा रहती थी—“हम भी उत्तंक के समान गुरु-सेवा और गुरुभक्ति की वह आचरण-परम्परा प्राप्त करें।”
