Ethics of Non-attachment
य एवं वृत्तसम्पन्न: स मुनि: श्रेष्ठ उच्यते । जिस कामके करनेसे समाजके दूसरे लोग अनादर करें
ya evaṁ vṛttasampannaḥ sa muniḥ śreṣṭha ucyate |
वायु ने कहा—जो इस प्रकार के संयमित आचरण से सम्पन्न है, वही श्रेष्ठ मुनि कहलाता है। जिस कार्य के करने से समाज के दूसरे लोग अनादर करें, वह भी शान्त रहकर सदा धर्मानुकूल वही करता रहे; परन्तु सत्पुरुषों के धर्म की कभी निन्दा न करे। ऐसा आचरण जिसके पास है, वही वास्तव में श्रेष्ठ मुनि है।
