अभयं सर्वभूतेभ्यो दत्त्वा नैष्कर्म्यमाचरेत्‌ । सर्वभूतसुखो मैत्र: सर्वेन्द्रिययतो मुनि:

Transliteration

abhayaṃ sarvabhūtebhyo dattvā naiṣkarmyam ācaret | sarvabhūtasukho maitraḥ sarvendriyayato muniḥ ||

Translation

वायु बोले—समस्त प्राणियों को अभयदान देकर मनुष्य निष्काम कर्म-त्याग रूप संन्यास-धर्म का आचरण करे। सब प्राणियों के सुख में अपना सुख माने, सबके साथ मैत्री रखे, समस्त इन्द्रियों का संयम करे और मुनि-वृत्ति का पालन करे।
