ऑपन--माज बछ। ःडिज षट्चत्वारिशो5 ध्याय: ब्रह्मचारी

Transliteration

brahmovāca—evam etena mārgeṇa pūrvoktena yathāvidhi | adhītavān yathāśakti tathaiva brahmacaryavān |

Translation

ब्रह्माजी ने कहा—महर्षिगण! इस प्रकार पूर्वोक्त मार्ग के अनुसार और विधिपूर्वक आचरण करना चाहिए। जो पुरुष यथाशक्ति अध्ययन कर ब्रह्मचर्य-व्रत का पालन करता है, उसे अपने स्वधर्म में तत्पर रहना चाहिए; विद्वान् बनना चाहिए; समस्त इन्द्रियों को वश में रखना चाहिए; मुनि-व्रत का पालन करना चाहिए; गुरु के प्रिय और हित में संलग्न रहना चाहिए; सत्य बोलना चाहिए तथा धर्मपरायण और पवित्र रहना चाहिए।
