Chatra–Upānah Dāna: Origin Narrative
Jamadagni–Reṇukā–Sūrya Saṃvāda
प्रययुस्ते ततो भूयस्तीर्थानि वनगोचरा: । पुण्येषु तीर्थेषु तथा गात्राण्याप्लावयन्त ते
prayayus te tato bhūyas tīrthāni vanagocarāḥ | puṇyeṣu tīrtheṣu tathā gātrāṇy āplāvayanta te ||
तदनन्तर वे वनवासी पथिक फिर से तीर्थों की ओर चल पड़े। वे एक-एक पुण्यतीर्थ पर जाकर जल में डुबकी लगाकर स्नान करते और तीर्थयात्रा द्वारा अपने को पवित्र करते रहे।
