Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्

अरुन्धत्युवाच धरान्‌ धरित्रीं वसुधां भर्तुस्तिष्ठाम्यनन्तरम्‌ । मनो<नुरुन्धती भर्तुरिति मां विद्धयारुन्धतीम्‌

aruṇḍhaty uvāca dharān dharitrīṁ vasudhāṁ bhartus tiṣṭhāmy anantaram | mano'nuruṇḍhatī bhartur iti māṁ viddhy aruṇḍhatīm ||

अरुन्धती ने कहा— हे यातुधानी! मैं अपने सामर्थ्य से पर्वतों, पृथ्वी और वसुधा को धारण करती हूँ। मैं अपने पति से कभी अलग नहीं रहती और उनके मन के अनुसार चलती हूँ; इसलिए मेरा नाम ‘अरुन्धती’ है।
