Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
शक्ता हासि महीं कृत्स्नां वोढुं धारयितुं तथा । न हि ते किंचिदप्राप्पमन्यतो धारणादृते,“देवि! तुम सारी पृथ्वीको धारण करनेमें समर्थ हो, फिर इस गर्भको धारण करना तुम्हारे लिये कुछ असाध्य नहीं है”
śaktā hāsi mahīṁ kṛtsnāṁ voḍhuṁ dhārayituṁ tathā | na hi te kiṁcid aprāpyam anyato dhāraṇād ṛte |
“देवि! तुम समस्त पृथ्वी को वहन और धारण करने में समर्थ हो; इसलिए इस गर्भ को धारण करना तुम्हारे लिए असाध्य नहीं—धारण के बिना जो असंभव हो, उसके सिवा तुम्हारे लिए कुछ भी अप्राप्य नहीं।”
