Go-apahāra (Cattle Theft), Go-dāna (Cow-Gift), and Suvarṇa-dakṣiṇā (Gold Fee): Karmic Consequence and Purificatory Merit
खमावृत्योदपानस्य कृकलास: स्थितो महान् । तस्य नास्ति समुद्धर्तेत्येतत् कृष्णे न््यवेदयन्
kham āvṛtyodapānasya kṛkalāsaḥ sthito mahān | tasya nāsti samuddhartety etat kṛṣṇe nyavedayan |
उन्होंने श्रीकृष्ण से निवेदन किया—“भगवन्! एक बहुत बड़ा गिरगिट कुएँ में पड़ा है, जो कुएँ के मुख का सारा आकाश ढँककर बैठा है; पर उसे निकालने वाला कोई नहीं।”
