अध्याय ५६ — च्यवन–कुशिकसंवादः
Cyavana–Kuśika Dialogue on Lineage, Conflict, and Transmission
ततः प्रविश्य नगर कृत्वा पौर्वाह्निकी: क्रिया: । भुक्त्वा सभारयों रजनीमुवास स महाद्युति:
tataḥ praviśya nagaraṁ kṛtvā paurvāhṇikīḥ kriyāḥ | bhuktvā sabhāryo rajanīm uvāsa sa mahādyutiḥ ||
तत्पश्चात् नगर में प्रवेश करके उन्होंने पूर्वाह्नकाल की समस्त नित्यकर्म-क्रियाएँ सम्पन्न कीं। फिर पत्नी सहित भोजन करके वे महातेजस्वी नरेश रात्रि को महल में निवास करने लगे।
