Cyavana’s Yogic Display and Kuśika’s Recognition of Tapas (च्यवन-योगप्रभावः कुशिकस्य तपःप्रशंसा च)
गावो लक्ष्म्या: सदा मूलं गोषु पाप्मा न विद्यते । अन्नमेव सदा गावो देवानां परमं हवि:
gāvo lakṣmyāḥ sadā mūlaṃ goṣu pāpmā na vidyate | annam eva sadā gāvo devānāṃ paramaṃ haviḥ ||
च्यवन ने कहा—गौएँ सदा लक्ष्मी का मूल हैं; गौओं में पाप का लेश भी नहीं होता। गौएँ ही मनुष्यों को निरन्तर अन्न देती हैं और देवताओं के लिए परम हविष्य हैं।
