Putra-Bheda: Kṣetraja, Kṛtaka, Apasada, and Saṃskāra Determinations (पुत्रभेद-निर्णयः)
उत्पादनमपत्यस्य जातस्य परिपालनम् | प्रीत्यर्थ लोकयात्राया: पश्यत स्त्रीनिबन्धनम्
utpādanam apatyasya jātasya paripālanam | prītyarthaṃ lokayātrāyāḥ paśyata strīnibandhanam ||
भीष्म बोले—लोक-जीवन में स्त्रियों का जो बन्धन है, उसे देखो: संतान की उत्पत्ति, जन्मे हुए शिशु का पालन-रक्षण, और प्रेम तथा लोक-परम्परा की निरन्तरता के लिए गृहस्थ-यात्रा का निर्वाह।
