अन्न ते वर्तयिष्यामि इतिहासं पुरातनम् । यथा रक्षा कृता पूर्व विपुलेन महात्मना
anna te vartayiṣyāmi itihāsaṃ purātanam | yathā rakṣā kṛtā pūrvaṃ vipulena mahātmanā ||
भीष्मजी बोले—प्रिय! मैं तुम्हें एक प्राचीन इतिहास सुनाता हूँ कि पूर्वकाल में महात्मा विपुल ने किस प्रकार अपने गुरु की पत्नी की रक्षा की थी।
