Mataṅga–Śakra Dialogue on Tapas, Status, and Moral Qualities
न सा प्रीतिर्दिविष्ठस्थ सर्वकामानुपाश्रत: । सम्भवेद् या परा प्रीतिर्गड्राया: पुलिने नृूणाम्
na sā prītir diviṣṭhasthaḥ sarvakāmānupāśrataḥ | sambhaved yā parā prītir gaṅgāyāḥ puline nṛṇām ||
स्वर्ग में रहकर समस्त भोगों का आश्रय लेने वाले पुरुष को भी वैसी प्रीति नहीं मिल सकती, जैसी गंगा के पुलिन-तट पर रहने से मनुष्यों को परम, अनुपम आनंद प्राप्त होता है।
