Gṛhastha-Vrata
गृहस्थश्वावजेष्यामि मृत्युमित्येव स प्रभो । प्रतिज्ञामकरोद् धीमान् दीप्ततेजा विशाम्पते
gṛhasthaś cāvajeṣyāmi mṛtyum ity eva sa prabho | pratijñām akarod dhīmān dīptatejā viśāmpate ||
भीष्म ने कहा—प्रजानाथ! प्रभो! उद्दीप्त तेज वाले उस बुद्धिमान, जननायक सुदर्शन ने यह प्रतिज्ञा की—“मैं गृहस्थ-धर्म में स्थित रहकर ही मृत्यु को जीत लूँगा।”
