अनरण्यो नरपतिर्जानुजंघस्तथैव च । कक्षसेनश्व राजर्षियें चान्ये चानुकीर्तिता:
anaraṇyo narapatir jānujāṅghas tathaiva ca | kakṣasenaś ca rājarṣir ye cānye cānukīrtitāḥ ||
भीष्म ने कहा—“(स्मरणीय राजाओं में) राजा अनरण्य, तथा जानुजंघ; और राजर्षि कक्षसेन—और भी ऐसे अन्य राजा, जिनका कीर्तन परम्परा में हुआ है।”
भीष्म उवाच
