स्नेहनो<स्नेहनश्वैव अजितश्न महामुनि: । वृक्षाकारो वृक्षकेतुरनलो वायुवाहन:
snehano ’snehanaś caiva ajitaśna mahāmuniḥ | vṛkṣākāro vṛkṣaketuranalo vāyuvāhanaḥ ||
वायु-देव बोले— वह स्नेह करनेवाला भी है और आसक्ति-रहित भी; अजेय आत्मसंयमवाला महामुनि है। वह वृक्षाकार है—संसार-वृक्ष का ही स्वरूप; वृक्ष के समान ऊँचा ध्वज धारण करनेवाला; वह अनल—अग्नि-स्वरूप है; और वायु को अपना वाहन बनानेवाला है।
