स्वस्तिद: स्वस्तिभावश्च भागी भागकरो लघु: । उत्सड्रश्न महाड़श्व महागर्भपरायण:

Transliteration

svastidaḥ svastibhāvaś ca bhāgī bhāgakaro laghuḥ | utsaḍraśna mahāḍaśva mahāgarbhaparāyaṇaḥ ||

Translation

वायु-देव ने कहा— वह स्वस्तिद है— कल्याण देने वाला; और स्वस्तिभाव है— कल्याणमयी सत्ता। वह यज्ञ में भाग ग्रहण करने वाला है और हवि का विभाग करने वाला भी। वह शीघ्रकारी, आसक्ति-रहित, महान् अंगों वाला, और हिरण्यगर्भ का परम आश्रय है।
