विप्रकारान् प्रयुद्धक्ते सम सुबहून् मम वेश्मनि । तानुदारतया चाहं चक्षमे चातिदुःसहान्
viprakārān prayuddhakte samabahūn mama veśmani | tān udāratayā cāhaṃ cakṣame cātiduḥsahān ||
वायु ने कहा— मेरे ही भवन में अनेक ब्राह्मणों ने मेरे विरुद्ध अपराध किए और वैरभाव से भी आचरण किया। उनके कर्म अत्यन्त दुःसह थे, फिर भी मैंने उदारता से सहकर उन्हें क्षमा कर दिया।
