तदैव तु मया तस्य चित्तज्ञेन गृहे जनः । सर्वाण्यन्नानि पानानि भक्ष्याश्नोच्चावचास्तथा
tadaiva tu mayā tasya cittajñena gṛhe janaḥ | sarvāṇy annāni pānāni bhakṣyāśnoccāvacās tathā ||
मैं उनके मन की बात जानता था, इसलिए मैंने घर के लोगों को पहले ही आज्ञा दे रखी थी कि सब प्रकार के अन्न-पान और भक्ष्य-भोज्य पदार्थ—उत्तम और मध्यम—आदरपूर्वक तैयार रखें। सब कुछ तैयार था; इसलिए मैंने मुनि को गरमागरम खीर निवेदन की।
