अजुन उवाच जीवाम्यहं ब्राह्मणार्थ सर्वथा सततं प्रभो | ब्रह्माण्यो ब्राह्मणेभ्यश्ष प्रणणमामि च नित्यश:
arjuna uvāca jīvāmy ahaṃ brāhmaṇārthaṃ sarvathā satataṃ prabho | brahmaṇyo brāhmaṇebhyaś ca praṇamāmi ca nityaśaḥ ||
अर्जुन बोला—प्रभो! मैं सब प्रकार से और सदा ब्राह्मणों के हित के लिए ही जीवन धारण करता हूँ। मैं ब्राह्मण-धर्म का भक्त हूँ और प्रतिदिन ब्राह्मणों को प्रणाम करता हूँ।
