Transliteration

tāṁ tv akāmayata śrīmān varuṇaḥ pūrvam eva ha | sa cāgamya vanaprasthaṁ yamunāyāṁ jahāra tām ||

Translation

श्रीमान् वरुणदेव उस कन्या को पहले से ही चाहते थे। वे वनवासी मुनि के आश्रम के निकट आ पहुँचे और यमुना में स्नान करते समय उसका अपहरण कर ले गए।
