अध्याय १६ — शङ्कर-उमा-वरदानम् तथा तण्डि-स्तुतिः (Śaṅkara–Umā Boon-Granting and Taṇḍi’s Hymn)
आराधितो<भूद् भक्तेन तस्योदर्क निशामय । स दृष्टवान् महादेवमस्तौषीच्च स्तवैर्विभुम्
ārādhito 'bhūd bhaktena tasyodarkaṃ niśāmaya | sa dṛṣṭavān mahādevam astauṣīc ca stavair vibhum ||
वायु बोले—उस भक्ति का फल सुनो। भक्त द्वारा श्रद्धापूर्वक आराधित होने पर भगवान् ने उसका फल दिया; उसने महादेव का दर्शन किया और स्तोत्रों से उस सर्वव्यापी प्रभु की स्तुति की।
