दीक्षाकालेषु सर्वेषु यः पठेन्नियतो द्विज: । न्यायवानात्मनिरत: क्षान्तो दान्तोडनसूयक:
dīkṣākāleṣu sarveṣu yaḥ paṭhennīyato dvijaḥ | nyāyavān ātmanirataḥ kṣānto dānto 'nasūyakaḥ ||
जो द्विज दीक्षा के सभी अवसरों पर नियमपूर्वक इन नामों का पाठ करता है, वह न्यायशील, आत्मनिष्ठ, क्षमावान, जितेन्द्रिय तथा दोष-दृष्टि से रहित होता है।
भीष्म उवाच

In Bhīṣma’s instruction on dharma (Anuśāsana Parva), he describes the moral and psychological qualities that arise for a regulated dvija who recites the prescribed names during times of dīkṣā and ritual observance.
