ऋषिर्मेधातिथे: पुत्र: कण्वो बर्हिषदस्तथा । ब्रह्मतेजोमया: सर्वे कीर्तिता लोकभावना:
ṛṣir medhātitheḥ putraḥ kaṇvo barhiṣadas tathā | brahma-tejomayāḥ sarve kīrtitā loka-bhāvanāḥ ||
मेधातिथि के पुत्र कण्व ऋषि तथा वर्हिषद भी (उन्हीं में हैं)। ये सभी ब्रह्मतेज से परिपूर्ण, लोक-भावना—जगत् के पोषक और धारक—के रूप में कीर्तित हैं।
