महावराहो गोविन्द: सुषेण: कनकाड्रदी । गुह्रो गभीरो गहनो गुप्तश्चक्रगदाधर:
bhīṣma uvāca | mahāvarāho govindaḥ suṣeṇaḥ kanakāṅgadī | guhyo gabhīro gahano guptaś cakragadādharaḥ ||
भीष्म बोले—वह महावराह है, गोविन्द है; सुषेण—सुन्दर पार्षद-सेना से युक्त; कनकाङ्गदी—स्वर्ण बाजूबन्द धारण करने वाला; गुह्य—हृदय-गुहा में निहित; गभीर—अतिगम्भीर; गहन—जिसका स्वरूप भेदना कठिन; गुप्त—वाणी और मन से अगोचर; तथा चक्रगदाधर—भक्त-रक्षा हेतु चक्र और गदा धारण करने वाला है।
