वेदान्तगो ब्राह्मण: स्यात् क्षत्रियो विजयी भवेत् । वैश्यो धनसमृद्धः स्याच्छूद्र: सुखमवाप्रुयात्
vedāntago brāhmaṇaḥ syāt kṣatriyo vijayī bhavet | vaiśyo dhanasamṛddhaḥ syāc chūdraḥ sukham avāpnuyāt ||
भीष्म ने कहा—इस विष्णुसहस्रनाम के श्रवण, पठन और कीर्तन से ब्राह्मण वेदान्त का पारगामी होता है, क्षत्रिय युद्ध में विजय पाता है, वैश्य धन-समृद्धि प्राप्त करता है और शूद्र सुख पाता है।
