Bhīṣma’s Yogic Departure, Royal Cremation, and Gaṅgā’s Lament (भीष्मस्य योगयुक्त्या देहत्यागः, पितृमेधः, गङ्गाविलापः)
इति श्रीमहाभारते अनुशासनपर्वणि दानधर्मपर्वणि महापुरुषप्रस्तावे अष्टचत्वारिंशदाधिकशततमो< ध्याय:
iti śrīmahābhārate anuśāsanaparvaṇi dānadharmaparvaṇi mahāpuruṣa-prastāve aṣṭacatvāriṃśad-adhika-śatatamo 'dhyāyaḥ | (iti) — “Thus, in the Śrī Mahābhārata, in the Anuśāsana-parvan, within the Dāna-dharma-parvan, in the section introducing the Mahāpuruṣa, the one-hundred-and-forty-eighth adhyāya is concluded.”
इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत के अनुशासनपर्व के अंतर्गत दानधर्मपर्व में महापुरुष श्रीकृष्ण के प्रशंसा-प्रसंग का एक सौ अड़तालीसवाँ अध्याय समाप्त हुआ।
