दातव्यमसकृच्छक्त्या यष्टव्यमसकृत् तथा । पुष्टिकर्मविधानं च कर्तव्यं भूतिमिच्छता
dātavyam asakṛc chaktyā yaṣṭavyam asakṛt tathā | puṣṭikarmavidhānaṃ ca kartavyaṃ bhūtim icchatā ||
महेश्वर ने कहा—मनुष्य को अपनी शक्ति के अनुसार बार-बार दान करना चाहिए और उसी प्रकार बार-बार यज्ञ करना चाहिए। जो समृद्धि चाहता हो, उसे पुष्टिजनक कर्मों के विधानानुसार पोषण, बल और कल्याण बढ़ाने वाले अनुशासन भी करने चाहिए।
