Śatarudrīya-prabhāva and Rudra’s Supremacy (शतरुद्रीयप्रभावः)
उमोवाच भगवन् सर्वभूतेश शूलपाणे महाव्रत । संशयो मे महान् जातस्तन्मे व्याख्यातुमहसि
umovāca bhagavan sarvabhūteśa śūlapāṇe mahāvrata | saṃśayo me mahān jātas tan me vyākhyātum arhasi ||
उमा बोलीं—हे भगवन्, सर्वभूतेश्वर, शूलपाणि, महाव्रतधारी! मेरे मन में एक महान् संशय उत्पन्न हुआ है; कृपा करके उसका अर्थ मुझे समझाइए।
