Śiva-nāmānukīrtana-prastāvaḥ
Prologue to the praise of Śiva and the Upamanyu testimony
तमाह भगवान् रुद्र: साक्षात् तुष्टोडस्मि तेडनघ । ग्रन्थकूल्लोकविख्यातो भवितास्यजरामर:
tam āha bhagavān rudraḥ sākṣāt tuṣṭo ’smi te ’nagha | granthakṛl lokavikhyāto bhavitāsy ajarāmaraḥ ||
तब भगवान् रुद्र ने साक्षात् दर्शन देकर कहा—“अनघ! मैं तुम पर अत्यन्त प्रसन्न हूँ। तुम लोकविख्यात ग्रन्थकार बनोगे और अजर-अमर होओगे।”
