एष श्राद्धविधि: प्रोक्तो यथा धर्मो न लुप्यते । पितरस्तस्य तुष्यन्ति प्रहष्टटनस: सदा
eṣa śrāddhavidhiḥ prokto yathā dharmo na lupyate | pitaras tasya tuṣyanti praharṣaṭanasāḥ sadā ||
भीष्म बोले— “यह श्राद्ध-विधि इस प्रकार कही गई है कि धर्म का लोप न हो। जो इसे करता है, उससे पितर सदा प्रसन्न रहते हैं, हर्षित मन वाले।”
