यष्टव्यं च यथाशक्ति यज्ैविविधदक्षिणै: । अत ऊर्ध्वमरण्यं च सेवितव्यं नराधिप
yaṣṭavyaṃ ca yathāśakti yajñair vividha-dakṣiṇaiḥ | ata ūrdhvam araṇyaṃ ca sevitavyaṃ narādhipa ||
भीष्म बोले—यथाशक्ति विविध दक्षिणाओं सहित यज्ञों का अनुष्ठान करना चाहिए। तत्पश्चात, हे नराधिप! गृहस्थ-आश्रम की अवधि पूर्ण होने पर वानप्रस्थ-धर्म का पालन करते हुए वन का आश्रय लेना चाहिए।
