Praise of Ācāra as the Basis of Longevity, Fame, and Prosperity
महात्मनो5तिगुह्यानि न वक्तव्यानि कर्िचित् । अगम्याक्ष न गच्छेत राज्ञ: पत्नी सखीस्तथा
mahātmano ’tiguhyāni na vaktavyāni karhicit | agamyāḥ striyo na gacchet rājñaḥ patnīḥ sakhīs tathā ||
भीष्म ने कहा—महात्मा पुरुषों के अत्यन्त गुप्त विषय कभी किसी से प्रकट नहीं करने चाहिए। जो स्त्रियाँ ‘अगम्या’ हैं, उनके पास कभी न जाए और उनके साथ संग न करे। बुद्धिमान पुरुष को राजा की पत्नियों और उसकी सखियों के निकट भी नहीं जाना चाहिए।
