न हास्मिन् शीलहीनो वा निर्वीर्यो वा नराधिप: । प्रजाविरहितो वापि भूतपूर्व: कथंचन,मेरा विश्वास है कि इस वंशमें पहले कभी किसी प्रकार भी कोई ऐसा राजा नहीं हुआ है, जो शीलरहित, बल-पराक्रमसे शून्य अथवा संतानहीन रहा हो
na hāsmin śīlahīno vā nirvīryo vā narādhipaḥ | prajāvirahito vāpi bhūtapūrvaḥ kathaṃcana ||
मेरा निश्चय है कि इस वंश में पहले कभी किसी प्रकार भी कोई ऐसा राजा नहीं हुआ, जो शीलहीन, वीर्यहीन अथवा प्रजाविहीन रहा हो।
